There is a daily act of collective worship.

Parents/carers are welcome to attend the following assemblies:

  • Weekly Class Assembly - where the classes take turn to perform to the school at 8.55am on Friday, see the calendar details for class turns.
  • Termly assemblies: Councillor, Eco Group, Gardeners Assembly – The different groups of children with responsibilities prepare a termly assembly to share a theme or important message to the children.
  • Annual Ash’s Got Talent – Children will have chance to audition and prepare a something to share with the school, a talent in any form; suitable for all ages to enjoy. All children have a class and Headteacher audition
  • Easter Assembly - Year 4 prepare a retelling of the Christian Easter story for the school. The event takes place at Holy Angels Church, all parents/carers are welcome to attend.
  • Harvest Festival - A celebration to express our care and share with the community. Year 3 prepare and perform a special assembly and invite their parents/carers to a tea party which they have prepared and cooked. The whole school brings in items for shoeboxes that the children create and send to those less fortunate in the world.
  • Decorating the Christmas tree assembly – this is the first event to welcome the Christmas season. All of the children from the Children Centre to Year 6 hang decorations on the main tree in the hall, whilst Christmas songs, stories and poems are presented. Parents/carers are welcome to see the finished tree after school.
