School Dinners

For children attending school, a hot meal choice is available; the fee is collected in advance on a weekly, half-termly or termly basis. Cheques are made payable to ‘Surrey County Council’ or parents can pay online.  The school provides a hot meal, with salad and bread, a dessert and drink.

All Key Stage 1 children (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes) are provided with a free school meal from the government.

Packed lunch

Provision is made for children who bring packed lunches to school.

A packed lunch needs to be:

  • A balanced healthy meal
  • No chocolate bars or sweets
  • No nut products are allowed to keep safe those with a nut allergy.

Children staying for packed lunch should have a labelled container for their balanced meal and drink. Uneaten food is returned home so parents can monitor what is being eaten.

For those parents who wish to take their child home for lunch, collection is at 12.05 and return to school is from 12.50-12.55pm, so that the child is in time for afternoon lessons.

Parent lunches

There are termly Parent Lunches where families can book to come in and eat a hot meal or packed lunch with their child/ren.  Look out for the dates in the Calendar and book a place at the office.

Free School Meals

The school is able to claim Pupil Premium Funding for any children who are entitled to a free school meal. This brings in extra funds to the school to provide learning assistants and opportunities for your child to have an enriched learning experience. The school makes the application with parent permission. Please let the office know if you think you may be entitled to claim.
