Information and advice for parenting and pregnancy.

When you have a new baby, your whole world changes. You may have lots of questions about being a parent, but not know where to get the reliable answers you need.

The NHS Information Service for Parents is a free digital service which provides parents-to-be and new parents with information and advice you can trust. This covers a wide range of issues: staying healthy in pregnancy, preparing for birth and looking after your baby. There is advice on breastfeeding, weaning and immunisations and much more.

Over one hundred videos show experts giving practical advice and parents discussing their own experiences.

Both mums and dads can sign up to receive regular emails, videos and SMS messages with advice related to the stage of pregnancy and the age of the child.
