Ash Grange Children's Centre supports the UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative.


‘Bumps to Babes’ and Early Feeding Support

On Tuesdays 1.30pm to 3.00pm Ash Grange Children Centre host a session for Mums–to-be and new Mums (new Fathers welcome too).

We understand how challenging the birth of a new baby can be so we offer:

  • Support and advice given by trained Children’s Centre staff
  • Activities you can do to help babies brain develop
  • Baby massage ‘taster’ session
  • Support and advice with Early Feeding

In addition specific breastfeeding advice and support will be available between 3pm and 3.30pm if required.

Children’s Centre staff are also available Monday to Friday to offer support and advice with Early Feeding. Call 01252 350225


National Breastfeeding Helpline 

Call 0300 100 0212 for breastfeeding information and help for you and your baby. You can also call the Helpline to speak to your nearest trained volunteer mother who will be happy to listen to you in confidence.

Lines open 9.30am – 9.30pm every day of the week, do call again later if you don’t get an answer straight away.
