Free Early Education for Two Year Olds (FEET) is an offer of up to 15 hours of free early education and childcare a week.

3 and 4 Year Olds

All children are entitled to 15 hours free Nursery Education which is available at local schools and settings including Ash Grange.  Find out more on the Surrey County Council website.

From September 2017 the government will be increasing the free hours from 15 to 30 a week for children of working families who meet the eligibility criteria.  Find out more from the Surrey County Council website or read our article How to Apply for 30 Hours Funding

 

Getting ready for school

No matter how young your child is, it's never too early to think about what will happen when they start primary or infant school.

Surrey County Council have made available a Getting ready for school booklet. Further details are available from the Surrey County Council website

Home Start also provide a range of activity sheets on their 'Big Hopes Big Future' website. Activity sheets include starting morning routines, keeping clean, getting ready to learn and mealtime routines.
