Chlamydia testing and treatment, emergency contraception and condom distribution scheme are part of the free services available to young people under 25 in Surrey. Over 100 community pharmacy provide emergency contraception (EHC) and two types are available after unprotected sexual intercourse (UPSI)- one for use upto 72hrs/3 days and another that can be used upto 120hr/5days after UPSI. With either EHC the sooner they are taken the more effective they are.
